Hi I’m Arya and I am the creator of Refined Pickings!

Founded in 2020 in India, Refined Pickings began as a way for me to journal my transition towards environmental consciousness. As a lifestyle journalist, writer, artist, creative and all-around dreamer, I was always looking for a space to express myself and so, this website became just that.

Exploring my personal love for conscious fashion, clean beauty, and a refined lifestyle that took into consideration, not just my daily habits but also the repercussions of my not-so-conscious pre-Covid lifestyle. Slowly, and I emphasize that sustainable living comes one day at a time, I began to understand what it truly meant to be slow, not just in fashion but in life.

Today Refined Pickings thrives on becoming a beautiful community of people journeying towards conscious living and fashion, towards sustainability and discovery. We want to help those who are looking to transition themselves, who want to make a change for themselves and for the planet.

We dream of exploring avenues that no one has really thought of before, of ways in which we can better ourselves, our surroundings, and our environment. We believe every small step can make a change and these changes can translate into better living, a conscious closet, cleaner habits, and a better lifestyle altogether.
